Sarah Grammar Warnberg is a playwright, teaching artist, and nonprofit management professional from Biloxi. Sarah holds an A.B. in Theater, Dance & Media from Harvard College.

VICE PRESIDENT

Jordan West is a teaching theatre artist out of Ocean Springs, MS, born and raised in Biloxi. He has an M.F.A. in Theatre Education from MUW and his B.A. in Theatre from USM. He is primarily an educational contractor and puppet artist with Puppets Near Me.

Harper Panter is high school English teacher with a passion for theater. She has been a part of several Gulf Coast productions, both on and off stage. She is excited to expand her love for Shakespeare beyond the walls of her classroom with GCSC. 

DIRECTOR

Olivia Carson is the Theatre Director and Broadcast Journalism teacher at Biloxi High School, where she leads the Tribe Theatre and Tribe TV programs. She is passionate about helping students discover their voices and tell their stories with confidence, creativity, and authenticity while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts through education, collaboration, and community engagement. As a founding board member of the Gulf Coast Shakespeare Company, she is excited to help expand access to Shakespeare and classical theatre throughout the region.

LITERARY MANAGER & RESIDENT DRAMATURG

Stephanie Grammar is a Biloxi area visual and performing artist with 26 years of theater experience. She studied visual art and theatre at MGCCC and Ole Miss and now works as an artist, teacher, and lighting designer across the Gulf Coast.

ADMINISTRATION & ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

C.M. Grammar is a retired elementary school teacher and writer from Biloxi. She is a grandmother and has been a “theater mom” for over 25 years.

DIRECTOR

CO-FOUNDER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Carlton Warnberg is the co-founder and artistic director of the Gulf Coast Shakespeare Company. Professional credits include roles with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and the Houston Shakespeare Festival. Carlton earned a B.A. in Theatre from the University of South Alabama and an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Houston.

DIRECTOR

Amber West is an actress and hair & makeup artist in Ocean Springs, MS. She is a former theater and art teacher.
